Homecoming, OMG! Where do I start! Being a sophomore here at McMurry, I have looked forward to what even the school is going to surprise me with next. Homecoming is a time when the ENTIRE student body comes together and shows how much spirit they have. One of the things that surprise me was how important the “Beating of the Drum” is. Everyone tries to their very best to keep the same beat going for a long period of time; because we want our team to win (myth has it, if it gets messed up, we loose). I also enjoy seeing all of the little kids come to Teepee Village and learn more about all the different tribes. All together Homecoming is a Great Experience and not only that it is a time to hang out with your friends in a safe environment.
