The New Year
20. January 2009 15:15
Hey Guys,
I’m back after a quite deserving restful break. And by restful, I mean working hard to begin this second semester a step ahead. I finally bought my books on Friday which were quite expensive but definitely worth the money. Some people say that they pay too much for their books, but those are the ones that never make it to the second chapter. I am currently taking 12 hours this semester: Abstract Algebra II, Numerical Analysis, Intermediate Analysis, and finally Conversational Spanish. Yeah that’s right, three math courses and a language one. Twelve hours for me is not much since I’ve been taking 18 to 20 hours my last semesters. Well with that aside, it is also time for rushing. Currently the women are rushing this week with rush parties, and the men will be rushing at the smokers next week. It is a very exacting time for those young men and women because they are deciding what path and what type of brother/sisterhood to be a part of. I was blessed to experience it last year and I believe that it has been one of the greatest decisions of my life. In addition, this Saturday is the first preview of the New Year. I am also excited for this one because I know there is going to be a bunch of future MCM students exploring the campus. Well enough of those few exciting things, come out to MCM and explore excellence….
Until Next Time,
Pedro Bueno
