Many McMurry University graduates go on to professional schools. McMurry University has developed a special pre-professional program in order to help you prepare for professional schools through specialized academic training. Our program is designed to help you understand the expectations of professional programs, including trends in admissions and exposure to professional life.
Any major may apply to the pre-professional program, but continuance in the program is based on a combination of grades, individual motivation, character and satisfactory progress. Interested students are encouraged to contact the advisor of the program they are interested in early in their student career to receive the advising necessary to prepare them for professional school. Students will receive personal annual diagnostic progress reports to improve their competitiveness for professional school acceptance.
